"The Cloud Aloft" (or "The Cloud Aloft Remake") was the first half of the sixth episode in the first season of Star Trek: Phoenix-X, and the first half of the sixth "Remake" variant in the seventh season as a result of its rewrite.

Summary

While disabled by an engine malfunction in the Gamma Quadrant, the USS Phoenix-X encounters Jem'Hadar fighters and a matter/anti-matter inimical cloud that somehow benefits the Starfleet ship, but not the Jem'Hadar. The crew work to harness the cloud amidst the perils of Jem'Hadar actions against Captain Daniel's very own existence.
