"Cookies" (or "Cookies Remake") was the fourth episode in the first season of Star Trek: Phoenix-X, and the fourth "Remake" variant episode of the sixth season as a result of its rewrite.

Summary

When the crew is knocked unconscious by the consumption of Wallace's cookies, Captain Daniel has to track and stop Ragon and Kotah, the two hijackers responsible. Upon interrogation, the Captain learns the USS Phoenix-X is a prize-ship for a Maquis cell at Moghren III which plans to launch a retaliation fleet of Maquis-Drai drone ships from Phengroth V and VI.

Background information

• This episode was rewritten in January 2022 as "Cookies Remake".
• In the original chatfic, the Maquis was referred to as the Second Maquis, but in the rewrite, this moniker was no longer referenced.
• In the original chatfic, it was implied the Maquis persuaded the Drai to join their fight against the Federation, but this was retconned in the rewrite as two fleets of Maquis-Drai drone ships developed using stolen-sampled Drai technology. In addition, instead of a large group of Maquis, in the rewrite, Meloneus describes a single remote operator at Moghren III.
• The inclusion of the Tosk Hunter (or Drai) species in the chatifc episode was added/retconned several years later.
