Commander Norma Lorian was a Starfleet science officer and line officer who was the second officer of the USS Triton.
- While her previous billets had not been mentioned during "Confrontations", Lorian wore the blue shirt of the Sciences division.
In the 2290s, Lorian was acting executive officer of the Triton for two months, and felt confident that the billet would be hers permanently.
She was surprised and outraged that Commodore Eugene Alwine put Commander Janice Rand -- who had transferred from the USS Excelsior -- in the position. Lorian returned to her former posting as second officer. (Starship Triton: "Confrontations")
Early life
Lorian was from a long line of Starfleet officers and had been promoted to full commander just before serving as acting XO.
